Our Pet Boarding Services

Weston Road Animal Hospital in Weston, FL has a cozy, air-conditioned kennel space to keep your pet safe and comfortable while you are away. We always provide your pet with the most space available in our boarding areas. Our kennel environment is enhanced with calming music and species specific pheromones to provide a calm, low-stress environment for your pet. We also provide all the necessary bedding, blankets and toys for your pet's comfort. If you desire, you can bring a couple of select items to remind your pet of home (small bed, blanket, 1-2 toys). You are also welcome to bring your pet's own food,(especially if they are on a prescription diet). Our in-hospital diet is Purina EN dry for dogs and cats. 

Cats are kept in a separate area away from dogs. Each cat has a kitty condo with an elevated shelf, and at least one privacy area for their litter box. Our kitty condos open for additional room to hide and explore based on occupancy levels. 

Exotic pets that board with us can be housed in their own habitats and cages depending on size (maximum of 1ft by 2ft floor space). Otherwise, they are boarded in an isolated space with items to meet their basic needs. (hide boxes, perches, light/heat support, etc). Owners with exotic pets are required to bring their pet's diet and supplements.

Dogs and Cats are required to be up to date on core vaccines and must have a clean fecal screen within 6 months. Dogs staying more than one night are required to have a bath before going home. Any pet with a chronic medical condition & on medications (heart disease, diabetes, seizure disorder, Cushing's disease, Addison's disease, atopy, asthma, etc) must have an exam by our doctor within 2 months of their boarding stay. We do not board pets with high fear, anxiety or aggression without implementing calming supplements or medications. Consent to treat these conditions if deemed necessary is required for boarding.

While your pet is staying with us, we can assure you that he/she is receiving excellent care and our kennel staff's full attention. Our staff spoils your pet with attention, play and love during their stay with us. Our Tender Loving Care Package, available at an additional charge, guarantees additional extended walks, indoor off leash play time, human bonding time with staff, gentle massage and daily brushing.
